This privacy policy sets out the rules for the processing and protection of personal data provided by users in connection with their use of the Web Booking Engine fidelityhotel.net. 1. We, MAIS Informacijski sistemi d.d., are operating this internet booking engine, on behalf of the accommodation provider and we therefore act as a data processor. Processing of personal data is governed by the privacy policy of the respective accommodation provider which in this case acts as a data controller.
2. We assure you that we only collect, process, store, and use your personal data in connection with the processing of your booking, which is based on your explicitly given consent and fulfilment of contractual obligations.
3. Your personal data will only be shared with the accommodation company that provides the services you have booked and is always transferred via safe and protected protocols to the accommodation company.
4. Personal data is only processed in strict compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (Directive (EU) 2016/679 of the EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC) (GDPR) and other legislation regulating the personal data protection area.

6. The physical storage of your data occurs in our computing centre, located in Slovenia, Europe. Our computer systems are protected by technical and organisational measures that prevent accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure of, or access to your personal data. The data we collect is stored on safe servers and kept until your withdrawal but no longer than the maximum storage period, namely for as long as it is necessary to fulfil the purposes the data controller collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. After the expiration of the time specified in this paragraph, the controller will delete or anonymize the data so that individual data or a combination of them can no longer be associated to identified or identifiable natural person.
7. Secure payment authorizations and credit card transactions take place via selected and integrated third party payment systems that are certified for data security on the highest level. In case of booking guarantee, your credit card details will be requested and transferred to the accommodation provider only for this purpose and in accordance with standard security protocols.
